Kisandra Numesti is the daughter of Lord Terrion Numesti, the former general of the Drelev Demesne.  When the Drelev Demesne was invaded by the Tiger Lords, her sister was taken captive by the barbarians to ensure the cooperation of Baron Hannis Drelev with an ill-advised attack against Tuskwood.  When her father refused to go along with the plot, he was summarily arrested and locked in the dungeon.  Kisandra disguised herself as a soldier and traveled with the advancing army, only slipping away as it neared Tatzlford to warn the people there and to beg for help in rescuing her father and sister, and in overthrowing the corrupt baron.
