The Drelev Demesne is a barony founded by a band of soldiers and diplomats from Restov in the strategically vital Slough approximately two years ago.  Led by Baron Hannis Drelev, The Drelev Demense is a small land mainly concerned with patrolling Lake Hooktongue to keep Brevoy's trade route with lands to the south open, and with enriching its lord.  Exploring the land, building a stable country, and providing for the people have thus far proven to be minor concerns, with what growth HAS occurred focusing in the capital of Fort Drelev.  As a result, the Drelev Demense must import the vast majority of its food and supplies, and still exists mainly thanks to generous subsidies from Restov.

The Drelev Demesne has been involved in continuous skirmishes with the Tiger Lord barbarians, and with the large boggard tribes inhabiting the Slough.

The coat of arms of the Drelev Demesne depicts a golden river lilly (representing the natural beauty of the Slough) above a silver river (representing the Sellen), which is itself above a white fortress wall (representing the strength and resolve of the people of the Drelev Demesne).  They all appear on a field of light blue, which represents Lake Hooktongue, the shore of which is the site of Fort Drelev.
